Dato' Jude Benny holds a degree in law from Queen Mary College, University of London and is a barrister of the Middle Temple. He is also an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

 

He has an extensive arbitration practice and sits regularly in both international and domestic arbitration references. He also appears regularly as counsel.

 

Dato' Benny has presided as a sole arbitrator and has also served on panels of two and three arbitrators. He has participated in International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), London Chamber of International Arbitration (LCIA), Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA) and numerous other ad hoc arbitrations.

With a wealth of experience acquired over the last 40 years, Dato' Benny is well placed to hear and determine commercial disputes. Having accumulated significant experience in the maritime industry, he is also especially suited to handling maritime /commodities disputes as well as complex international matters.
